During Ladakh Festival Ladakh Mountaineering & Adventure Clube organizes rock clumbing event the Shey Smansla. Tourists can also freely participate in this event Most of the high peaks in the trans Himalaya Of Ladakh are above 20,000 feet.
In Leh there is one popular peak overlooking the leh town – Stok Peak-6135 mtr (Kang-la-chen). IMF member (Sonam Wangyal Evrester) for climbing this peak by paying fee.
